Article Processing Charge (APC)

APC

AI & Cyber Forum: An International Journal follows a Gold Open Access publishing model, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to readers across the globe without subscription or access barriers. To sustain high-quality open-access publication standards, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of their manuscript.

1. Purpose of APC

The Article Processing Charge is utilized exclusively to cover the essential costs of the publication process, including:

  • Editorial management, plagiarism screening, and double-blind peer review.
  • Online hosting, archiving, and indexing of published articles.
  • Professional copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading for production quality.
  • DOI assignment, metadata management, and digital preservation for long-term access.
  • Website maintenance, IT infrastructure, and global dissemination of research content.
  • By paying the APC, authors directly support the journal’s mission of promoting free, global, and equitable access to cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Cybersecurity.

2. APC Amount

Original Research Articles / Review Papers: [Insert APC in USD/INR]

Case Studies / Short Communications: [Insert APC in USD/INR]

Invited Articles / Editorials: No APC (by invitation only)

Note: APC rates are subject to periodic review. Authors will be informed of the applicable fee at the time of manuscript acceptance.

3. Waivers and Discounts

To ensure inclusivity and encourage submissions from diverse research communities, the journal offers full or partial APC waivers under specific circumstances, such as:

  • Authors affiliated with institutions in low-income or lower-middle-income countries (based on World Bank classification).
  • Early-career researchers, postgraduates, and students with limited or no research funding.
  • Special Issues where the Guest Editor has negotiated reduced or waived APCs.
  • Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Editorial Office.

4. Payment Procedure

The APC is payable only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.

Authors will receive an official invoice from the Editorial Office, detailing payment options and instructions. Accepted payment methods include:

Bank Transfer (Preferred)

Credit/Debit Card

Online Payment Gateways (details provided on invoice)

A payment receipt will be issued to the corresponding author, which can be used for institutional reimbursement or funding documentation.

5. Refund Policy

APCs are non-refundable once an article has entered the production or publication process.

If an article is withdrawn after acceptance by the author, the APC will not be refunded.

In rare cases involving technical errors or publisher-side withdrawal, partial or full refunds may be considered at the discretion of the publisher.

6. Transparency and Ethics
