Editorial Process
The editorial process at AI & Cyber Forum: An International Journal is structured to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and ethically sound research in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cybersecurity. The journal upholds a rigorous, transparent, and fair double-blind peer review system to maintain scientific integrity, relevance, and excellence in the field.
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors can submit their manuscripts via the journal’s online submission portal or designated official email address.
All submissions must comply with the Author Guidelines in terms of format, structure, references, and ethical standards.
A confirmation email is sent upon successful submission.
2. Initial Screening
The Editor-in-Chief or designated Associate Editors perform an initial evaluation to ensure that each submission meets the journal’s basic requirements.
Manuscripts are assessed for:
- Relevance to AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Cybersecurity
- Originality and potential contribution to the field
- Technical and linguistic clarity
- Compliance with journal formatting and ethical policies
- Manuscripts not meeting these criteria may be desk rejected at this stage.
3. Plagiarism Check
All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software to ensure originality and prevent academic misconduct.
Manuscripts showing significant similarity or evidence of duplicate publication are rejected immediately.
4. Peer Review Process
Manuscripts passing the initial screening undergo a double-blind peer review process.
At least two independent experts in the relevant domain are invited to evaluate the paper based on:
- Novelty and originality of research
- Technical depth and analytical rigor
- Relevance and contribution to AI or cybersecurity research
- Organization, clarity, and completeness of presentation
Possible outcomes after review:
- Accept as is
- Minor revisions required
- Major revisions required
- Reject
5. Author Revision
Authors receive reviewer comments and are requested to revise the manuscript accordingly.
Revised versions must be submitted within the specified timeframe, along with a detailed response letter addressing reviewer feedback point by point.
6. Final Decision
The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Associate Editors, makes the final publication decision based on reviewer recommendations and the quality of revisions.
Authors are informed of the decision via official email communication.
7. Copyediting and Proofreading
Accepted manuscripts undergo professional copyediting and formatting to ensure clarity, precision, and consistency.
Authors receive proofs for final review before the article is formally published.
8. Publication
The final, peer-reviewed version of the article is published online open access under the assigned DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring permanent citation, indexing, and discoverability.
9. Post-Publication
Published articles are promoted through the journal’s website, indexing databases, newsletters, and digital media platforms.
Authors are encouraged to share and disseminate their published work to enhance visibility and academic impact.
Editorial Integrity
AI & Cyber Forum strictly adheres to the principles and ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All editorial decisions are made independently and impartially, based solely on the academic merit and originality of the submitted work, free from bias or conflict of interest.
