Role of Reviewers

Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the quality, credibility, and integrity of Discover Engineering: An International Journal, published by the Academic Society. Their constructive feedback ensures that only high-quality, original, and significant research is published. By serving as a reviewer, you contribute to advancing the global engineering community.

Peer Review Policy

The journal adopts a single-blind peer review process. Reviewers are provided with the manuscript and are expected to evaluate its:

  • Originality and contribution to the field
  • Technical soundness and methodological rigor
  • Clarity, organization, and presentation of results
  • Relevance to the scope of the journal
  • Reviewers’ identities remain confidential, while author identities are disclosed.

Review Process

Once a manuscript is submitted, it undergoes an initial editorial screening.Suitable manuscripts are assigned to expert reviewers based on subject expertise.Reviewers are expected to submit their reports within 2–3 weeks. Extensions may be requested if needed.Based on the reviewer’s comments, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Provide an unbiased, constructive, and timely review.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and related data.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest before accepting the review.
  • Avoid using unpublished data or findings for personal research.

Reviewer Recognition

The journal greatly values the efforts of its reviewers. Recognition is provided through:

Reviewer Certificates issued by the Academic Society.

Acknowledgment in the Journal Website (with reviewer’s consent).

Consideration for inclusion in the Editorial Board based on consistent contribution and expertise.

Ethical Considerations

Reviewers are expected to adhere to the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing. Any concerns related to plagiarism, data fabrication, or ethical misconduct should be immediately reported to the editorial office.
