Prepare a Proposal<\/h3><p>We welcome editorial board members, well-qualified authors, reviewers, and external experts in relevant engineering fields to edit a Special Issue for the journal. The Editor-in-Chief and Board Members may suggest a theme based on the Guest Editor\u2019s expertise, or the Guest Editor may propose a theme within the scope of the journal.<\/p><p>The proposed theme should:<\/p><ul><li>Be of high current interest in engineering and technology.<\/li><li>Be broad enough to attract readers across disciplines.<\/li><li>Be specific enough to maintain focus and scholarly depth.<\/li><li>Proposals should be submitted to the Editorial Office at: <strong><a href=\"mailto:deij@academicsociety.org\">deij@academicsociety.org<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Board Members, will evaluate the proposal within two weeks of submission.<\/p><h3><strong>A Special Issue proposal should include:<\/strong><\/h3><ul><li>Current CV and short biography of the Guest Editor (including expertise and editorial experience).<\/li><li>Names and contact information for up to two co-Guest Editors (if any).<\/li><li>The proposed theme\/topic and expected number of articles.<\/li><li>Background and significance of the theme.<\/li><li>Scope of the Special Issue with six keywords representing the topic.<\/li><li>A tentative list of potential contributors (optional).<\/li><li>Tentative timeline for manuscript solicitation, peer review, and finalization.<\/li><li>Declaration of any <strong>conflict of interest<\/strong> related to the topic or contributors.<\/li><\/ul><h3>2. Promote the Special Issue and Invite Papers<\/h3><p>Once approved, the Guest Editor will:<\/p><ul><li>Draft and circulate a <strong>Call for Papers<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Share it through personal networks, professional groups, conferences, and workshops.<\/li><li>Invite <strong>high-quality contributions<\/strong> from researchers in the field.<\/li><li>Meanwhile, the Editorial Office will also:<\/li><li>Promote the Special Issue through the journal website, social media, and targeted mailing lists.<\/li><li>Circulate the Call for Papers among Board Members and the broader research community.<\/li><\/ul><p>Both invited and <strong>open submissions<\/strong> are welcome for a Special Issue.<\/p><h3>3.
