Aims and Scope
Discover Economics and Finance: An International Journal (DEFIJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and reffered journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across all areas of economics, finance, and business studies. The journal welcomes original research papers, reviews, case studies, and analytical reports that advance theoretical understanding, policy design, and practical applications in the field of economics and finance.

Publication Frequency
The journal publishes two issues per year (Quarterly): January–June and July–December.

Editorial Policies
1. Peer Review Policy
The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system—both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Manuscripts are reviewed for:
Originality and contribution to economic or financial knowledge.
Methodological soundness and empirical rigor.
Policy relevance and scholarly clarity.
Each manuscript is evaluated by two to three reviewers, and final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the editorial board.
2. Authorship and Contribution
Only individuals who have made a significant intellectual contribution to the work should be listed as authors. Contributors not meeting authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.
3. Plagiarism and Research Integrity
All submissions undergo plagiarism screening.
The journal follows a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, duplicate publication, or data manipulation, adhering to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
4. Conflict of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their judgment.
5. Data Availability
Authors are encouraged to make underlying data available to ensure transparency and reproducibility in research.
6. Article Withdrawal and Retraction Policy
Withdrawal: Permitted before acceptance.
Retraction: Applied to published papers in cases of ethical misconduct, plagiarism, or falsified data, following COPE standards.
7. Ethical Guidelines
All research must follow internationally accepted academic and professional ethics. Studies involving human subjects, surveys, or financial experiments must include statements on informed consent and data confidentiality.
8. Editorial Independence
All editorial decisions are made based on scholarly merit, free from external or political influence.

DEFIJ values diverse authorship, geographic representation, and equitable participation in the review process.
Author Instructions
1. Manuscript Types
Original Research Articles: Empirical or theoretical studies in economics and finance.
Review Articles: Analytical overviews of current economic issues and trends.
Case Studies: Real-world examples of financial or economic policy outcomes.
Short Communications: Brief reports of emerging research or preliminary findings.
2. Manuscript Preparation
Use Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double-spaced.
Length: up to 7,000 words (research articles) and 10,000 words (reviews).
Include:
- Title Page (authors, affiliations, corresponding author)
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (3–6)
- Introduction
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References (APA/Harvard style)
3. Submission Process
Authors can submit via the online submission system or by email at editorial@discovereconomicsjournal.org.
Submissions undergo an initial screening for scope, formatting, and plagiarism before peer review.
4. Open Access
All articles are freely available online immediately after publication under the CC BY 4.0 License.
5. Article Processing Charges (APC)**
