Open Access Policy

Open Access Policy

Discover Economics and Finance: An International Journal (eISSN: [To be Assigned]) is committed to the principles of open access publishing, ensuring that all research published in the journal is freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or access fees. Our mission is to promote the widest possible dissemination of knowledge in economics, finance, business management, accounting, banking, and related disciplines, supporting transparency, accessibility, and inclusivity in scholarly communication.

1. Open Access Model

The journal follows the Gold Open Access model, which means:

  • All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication.
  • Readers can read, download, distribute, and share published content without restrictions.
  • Authors retain copyright to their work while granting the journal the right to publish it.

2. Licensing Policy

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which allows:

  • Sharing – Copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format.
  • Adaptation – Remixing, transforming, and building upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
  • Attribution – Proper credit must be given to the original author(s) and the journal.

This ensures maximum visibility, citation potential, and long-term impact of published research in economics and finance.

3. Benefits of Open Access

Global Accessibility: Economic and financial research is accessible to academics, policymakers, practitioners, industry leaders, and the public without barriers.

Increased Visibility: Open access articles attract a wider readership and achieve greater citation potential across disciplines and countries.

Faster Knowledge Transfer: Facilitates the immediate application of research findings to financial markets, business strategies, and policy development.

Support for Innovation: Promotes the development of sustainable economic models, innovative financial tools, and inclusive policy frameworks by ensuring free access to cutting-edge research.

4. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To sustain the open access publishing model, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 35 from authors upon acceptance of their manuscript.

No submission fees are charged.

The APC covers editorial management, peer review, production, and online hosting.

Waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low-income regions or for early-career researchers.

(Refer to the [APC Policy page] for detailed information.)

5. Archiving and Long-Term Preservation

Each article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for permanent identification and citation.

The journal ensures long-term preservation of its content through trusted digital archiving systems.

Articles will remain permanently accessible even if the journal ceases operations.
