APC
World Education Policy: An International Journal is a fully open-access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely and permanently available without subscription barriers. To support high-quality publishing services—including peer review coordination, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, indexing preparation, website maintenance, archiving, and long-term accessibility—the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC).
APC Policy
Authors are required to pay the APC only after their manuscript is accepted for publication.
The APC supports immediate open access, global visibility, and wide dissemination of the published work.
There are no submission or review charges. Authors pay only after successful peer review and acceptance.
APC Rates
Standard APC: USD [XXX] / INR [XXX] per accepted article.
Waivers and Discounts
The journal offers flexible APC support to ensure inclusivity:
- Authors from low-income countries (as classified by the World Bank) may request partial or full waivers.
- Early-career researchers and students may be considered for APC discounts upon valid justification.
- Editorial Board members, reviewers, and guest editors contributing significantly to the journal may receive APC reductions.
Payment Information
Payment instructions will be sent to the corresponding author upon acceptance.
Payments can be made through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or institutional support.
APC payments are non-refundable once the article is published.
Funding Support
Authors are encouraged to explore funding options available through:
- Institutional research funds
- University publication grants
- National or international research agencies
- Open-access publishing funds
By implementing APCs, World Education Policy: An International Journal ensures a sustainable open-access model that maximizes the visibility, accessibility, and global impact of education policy research.
