3. Reviewer Guidelines

When reviewing a manuscript, reviewers are encouraged to consider the following:

A. Scientific Quality

Is the research question clear, relevant, and significant?

Are the objectives and hypotheses well-defined?

Does the study design and methodology meet high scientific standards?

Are the results valid, reproducible, and supported by appropriate data and analysis?

B. Presentation Quality

Is the manuscript well-written, logically structured, and clear?

Are figures, tables, and references accurate and relevant?

Does the abstract effectively summarize the research?

Are citations adequate and up to date?

C. Ethical Considerations

Has the study adhered to ethical guidelines (e.g., human/animal approvals, environmental safety protocols)?

Are conflicts of interest or funding sources disclosed?

Is there any indication of plagiarism or duplicate publication?

4. Review Report Structure

Reviewers are requested to submit their reports through the online review system. A good review should typically include:

Summary – A brief overview of the manuscript and its main contributions.

Strengths – Highlight the key merits of the paper.

Weaknesses/Concerns – Identify issues in methodology, clarity, or originality.

Suggestions – Provide constructive recommendations for improvement.

Final Recommendation – Choose one of the following:

  • Accept as is
  • Minor revision
  • Major revision
  • Reject

5. Reviewer Responsibilities
