Author Instructions
Xplore Environment: An International Journal (eISSN: [to be assigned]) welcomes submissions of high-quality original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications in all areas of environmental sciences and related interdisciplinary domains. To maintain academic integrity and ensure a smooth publication process, authors are requested to carefully read and follow the instructions below before submitting their manuscripts.
1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted
The journal considers the following categories of manuscripts:
Original Research Articles – Full-length research papers presenting novel findings.
Review Articles – Comprehensive and critical overviews of recent developments in relevant fields.
Case Studies – In-depth analyses of specific environmental challenges, projects, or applications.
Short Communications / Technical Notes – Brief reports of new methods, techniques, or preliminary results.
Perspective / Commentary Articles – Authoritative opinions on emerging issues or policies.
2. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
General Format
Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
All text should be in 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
Line and page numbers must be included for ease of review.
Structure of the Manuscript
Title Page
Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)
Full names of all authors with affiliations
Corresponding author’s email address and ORCID iD
Funding information (if applicable)
Abstract
A structured abstract of 150–250 words, summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
Include 3–6 keywords for indexing.
Main Text
Introduction: Background, rationale, and objectives of the study.
Materials and Methods: Detailed description of methodology to allow reproducibility.
Results: Clear presentation of findings with tables, figures, and statistical analysis.
Discussion: Interpretation, comparison with existing literature, and implications.
Conclusion: Summary of findings, limitations, and future directions.
References
References must follow the APA (7th edition) style.
Include DOI numbers wherever available.
Figures and Tables
Each figure/table must be cited in the text and numbered sequentially.
Provide clear captions and ensure high-quality resolution (minimum 300 dpi for images).
3. Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system [submission link will be provided].
Each submission must be accompanied by:
Cover Letter: Briefly describe the significance of the study and confirm originality.
Copyright Agreement Form: Signed by all authors after acceptance.
Conflict of Interest Statement: Disclosure of any potential conflicts.
4. Ethical Considerations
Manuscripts must represent original work not previously published or under review elsewhere.
Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research, including obtaining necessary approvals (e.g., institutional, ethical committee).
Plagiarism in any form will result in immediate rejection. The journal uses plagiarism detection tools.
Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to the research. Ghost authorship and guest authorship are strictly prohibited.
5. Peer Review Policy
All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening.
Suitable manuscripts are sent for double-blind peer review by at least two experts in the field.
Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit based on reviewers’ comments.
The editorial team makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection.
6. Article Processing Charges (APC)
The journal follows an open access model.
Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance to cover editorial and production costs.
Waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low-income countries.
7. Copyright and Licensing
All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License.
Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the work.
8. Author Checklist Before Submission
